Quick answer
Kommo is a CRM built for selling over messaging apps, priced per user: US$25, 35 or 45 per user per month, with a 6-month minimum subscription. GoHighLevel charges a flat fee per account, from US$97 to US$497 a month, with unlimited users and contacts, and bundles CRM, WhatsApp, websites, funnels, email and calendars. A small team that only sells on WhatsApp will find Kommo simpler. Larger teams, agencies and anyone who wants marketing and sales in one tool usually get more value from GoHighLevel.
If your customers reach you on WhatsApp, Kommo has probably come up in your search. It is one of the best-known messaging CRMs in Latin America and beyond. GoHighLevel shows up in the same searches. Both connect the official WhatsApp API, both have automation and AI, and both work in Portuguese and Spanish. The real differences are in what each one covers and how each one bills you.
This comparison puts Kommo and GoHighLevel side by side using their official pages, checked on October 27, 2026: pricing model, billing terms, WhatsApp, automation, languages and trials. It is written for businesses outside the US, where WhatsApp is the main sales channel and every subscription is paid in dollars by card.
The short version
Kommo is a CRM for selling through messaging. Its core is a shared inbox for WhatsApp, Instagram and other channels, tied to a sales pipeline, with no-code bots (Salesbot) and AI agents that reply and qualify leads.
GoHighLevel (also written Go High Level or HighLevel) is a full marketing and sales platform. Besides a CRM with WhatsApp, it includes a website and funnel builder, email marketing, scheduling, forms, payments and workflows. It is also built for agencies, with one sub-account per client. Our GoHighLevel review covers everything inside it.
In practice: if your only problem is organizing WhatsApp conversations, Kommo does that with less to learn. If you also need landing pages, lead capture, email and reminders in one place, GoHighLevel replaces several tools.

Pricing
Kommo: per user, billed in 6-month blocks
Kommo raised prices for new customers on September 1, 2026. Its official pricing page now shows:
| Kommo plan | Price per user/month | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
| Base | US$25 | Pipeline, inbox, calendar, basic AI; 1 WhatsApp number and 1 Instagram account (each extra user adds 1 more channel) |
| Advanced | US$35 | Pipeline automation, broadcasts, no-code bots, up to 3 AI agents; 3 WhatsApp numbers |
| Pro | US$45 | Booking, sales and marketing analytics, up to 50 AI agents; unlimited channels |
| Enterprise | Custom | SSO, scheduled backups, dedicated account manager |
The detail that matters most is billing: Kommo states that monthly payment is not available and the minimum period is 6 months. A five-person team on Advanced pays US$175 a month, or US$1,050 upfront every six months. AI credits come per user (750, 1,250 or 2,250 a month), and extra credit packs cost more.
GoHighLevel: one flat fee per account
| GoHighLevel plan | Monthly | Annual | Sub-accounts |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | US$97 | US$970 | 3 |
| Unlimited | US$297 | US$2,970 | Unlimited |
| Agency Pro | US$497 | US$4,970 | Unlimited, with SaaS mode |
Users and contacts are unlimited on every plan. Usage add-ons (WhatsApp, AI, email and SMS sending) are billed separately. Outside the US, your bank converts the dollar charge at its own exchange rate and may add a foreign transaction fee, so check your card terms before you compare.
Which one costs less
Team size decides it. Kommo is cheaper with very few users: two people on Advanced cost US$70 a month. From three users on Advanced (US$105) or three on Pro (US$135), GoHighLevel Starter at US$97 with unlimited users, plus US$10 for WhatsApp, matches or beats it. For agencies, which need one workspace per client, GoHighLevel’s model is usually far cheaper.
Also remember the commitment: Kommo needs at least six months paid upfront, while GoHighLevel can be paid month to month and cancelled.
WhatsApp: both use the official API
This is what matters most for teams that sell on WhatsApp, and here the two are close.
- Kommo: the integration is built directly on Meta’s WhatsApp Cloud API, and Kommo says it adds no per-message fees: you pay Meta’s rates directly to Meta. Coexistence lets you keep the WhatsApp Business app and the CRM on the same number. The number of WhatsApp lines depends on the plan (1 on Base, 3 on Advanced, unlimited on Pro).
- GoHighLevel: also uses the official API, charges US$10 a month per sub-account and passes Meta’s fees through with no platform markup, plus a 5% Stripe processing fee. It supports coexistence, imports up to six months of chats and sends WhatsApp messages from workflows. Setup, Meta limits and per-country costs are in our GoHighLevel WhatsApp guide.
Meta’s rules apply equally to both: the 24-hour service window, approved templates to start conversations and sending limits for new accounts.
Automation and AI
Kommo’s Salesbot is a no-code bot builder that sends messages, collects customer data, moves leads through the pipeline and creates tasks. Bots and pipeline automation start on the Advanced plan. Kommo AI is included on every plan since September 2026, capped by credits per user.
GoHighLevel’s workflow builder connects any trigger to any action: a form submission, a booking, a payment, an incoming message, a pipeline stage. One workflow can send WhatsApp, email and SMS, create a task and remind the client before a meeting. AI features (conversation AI, voice AI, content AI) are billed separately, per sub-account or by usage.
If your automation lives inside the chat, Salesbot is enough. If it starts with an ad and runs through a landing page, a booking and a payment, GoHighLevel covers the whole path.
