Quick answer
SaaS Mode lets an agency resell GoHighLevel under its own brand: you build up to 20 plans with your own price, features and trial, clients subscribe through your page and their sub-account is created automatically. It comes with the Agency Pro plan ($497/month), the only plan that lets you mark up usage costs such as phone, email, AI and WhatsApp. Client subscriptions are billed through your own Stripe account, in the currency you set there.
If you run an agency outside the United States, you probably pay for a CRM, an email tool, a page builder and a booking app for each client, all billed in dollars. At some point the question comes up: what if, instead of only using the software, you sold it to your clients as your own product, under your brand and at your own monthly price? That is what GoHighLevel’s SaaS Mode is for.
This guide explains how SaaS Mode in GoHighLevel works, based on HighLevel’s own documentation checked on October 28, 2026: which plan you need, what you can white-label, how clients subscribe and pay, how rebilling with a markup works, and the points that matter when your clients are not in the US.
What SaaS Mode is
SaaS stands for software as a service: a client pays a subscription to use software online. In GoHighLevel (also written Go High Level or HighLevel), SaaS Mode lets your agency resell the platform as if it were your own product.
You build plans with the name, price and features you choose. A client subscribes through your sales page, their account (a sub-account) is created automatically, and they log in to a system with your logo and your domain. HighLevel says its white-label setup removes HighLevel branding. The client’s subscription is paid into your Stripe account, while you keep paying HighLevel for your own plan and for usage.
If you are new to the platform, the complete GoHighLevel guide covers what each sub-account includes: CRM, WhatsApp, funnels, websites, email, booking and automation.
Which plan includes SaaS Mode
SaaS Mode is part of the Agency Pro plan:
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | SaaS Mode | Usage rebilling |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $97 | $970 | No | No |
| Unlimited | $297 | $2,970 | No | Yes, at cost |
| Agency Pro | $497 | $4,970 | Yes | Yes, with markup |
Contacts and users are unlimited on all three plans, and yearly billing costs the price of ten months. Outside the US, your bank will convert the dollar charge at its own exchange rate and may add a foreign transaction fee, so check your card terms before choosing monthly or yearly.
HighLevel has a dedicated trial link for the Agency Pro plan with SaaS Mode. As with the standard trial, it asks for a card, and the plan fee is only charged after the trial ends.
What you can white-label
White-labeling is set up in your agency account. HighLevel’s guide lists:
- A custom login domain, so clients sign in at an address you own.
- An API domain for the links the system generates.
- Your logo across the platform.
- A branded desktop app.
- An email sending subdomain: if you set one up, login emails come from your domain; if not, they come from a generic platform domain.
HighLevel also recommends activating its phone system (LC Phone) and the premium features you want to include, such as Content AI and premium workflow triggers and actions, before you start selling.
How to build plans for your clients
Plans are created in the SaaS Configurator. According to the setup guide, you can have up to 20 SaaS plans per agency account. For each one you decide:
| Plan setting | What you control |
|---|---|
| Price | Monthly or yearly amount the client pays you |
| Trial | How many days before the first charge |
| Features | Which parts of the platform the client can see |
| Phone credits | Usage balance included in the plan |
| Snapshot | A ready-made template loaded into each new account |
| Rebilling markup | How much you add on top of usage costs |
Snapshots save the most time. If you serve one niche, such as clinics or real estate agents, you build one model account and every new client starts with the same funnels, messages and automations, already written in the client’s language.
How clients sign up
Once your plans exist, you sell them from a page inside the platform:
- Connect Stripe in your agency’s own sub-account, where you sell.
- Import your SaaS plans into the Payments tab, with an optional setup fee.
- Build a sales page with a one-step or two-step order form.
- Create a workflow that notifies you of each new sign-up, then run a full test purchase.
When a client buys through the two-step order form, the system creates their sub-account, creates a user, applies the plan’s permissions, turns on SaaS Mode and rebilling, and emails them their login. The guide notes that sign-ups fail if Stripe is in test mode, if the price is not a SaaS price, if PayPal is used, or if the client’s email already has an account.
Existing clients can be moved over too: any sub-account can be switched to SaaS Mode from its menu with Switch To SaaS.
Billing outside the US: Stripe, currency and tax
- Stripe is the processor for SaaS plans. The plans live in your Stripe account and should not be deleted there. PayPal does not work for SaaS.
- Currency: set it in Stripe before your first client. HighLevel says you cannot change it once a product has an active subscription, and phone rebilling stays in US dollars.
- Tax: you can apply Stripe tax rates as inclusive (you absorb them) or exclusive (the client pays on top). Local tax obligations are still yours to handle with your accountant.
- Latin America: Mercado Pago is native in seven Latin American countries, and its changelog lists SaaS Mode as compatible. HighLevel also redesigned the provider selection screen to flag processors that are not supported for SaaS billing. Check that screen in your own account before you promise clients a payment method.
Rebilling usage with a markup
Each sub-account uses pay-as-you-go services. HighLevel always bills the agency first, from a credit wallet, and you choose what happens next:
| Setup | Plans | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| No rebilling | All | The agency pays for every client’s usage |
| Rebilling at cost | Unlimited and Agency Pro | The client pays exactly what they use |
| Rebilling with markup | Agency Pro only | The client pays usage plus your markup |
Rebillable usage includes phone, email, AI and WhatsApp conversations. The default multiplier is 1.05x (5%), which HighLevel says covers Stripe fees; on Agency Pro you can change it. You can also resell fixed-price items such as the WhatsApp subscription, Conversation AI, WordPress hosting and marketplace apps, charged to the client’s card each month. For WhatsApp costs per sub-account, see the GoHighLevel WhatsApp guide.
Clients can see their balance, usage and recharges under their company billing settings, which keeps usage disputes to a minimum.
Pros and cons
What works well
- You sell a full platform under your brand without building software.
- Client accounts are created automatically after purchase.
- Up to 20 plans, each with its own features, trial and snapshot.
- Usage rebilling with a markup on Agency Pro.
- Billing in the currency you set in Stripe.
What needs attention
- Agency Pro costs $497 a month in US dollars, plus any bank conversion fees.
- SaaS billing depends on Stripe, which must be available for your business in your country.
- Plan currency is locked once the first subscription is active, and phone rebilling stays in dollars.
- Your clients’ support becomes your job; HighLevel supports the agency, mostly in English.
- Domains, phone, Stripe, plans and snapshots take time to set up. Plan to spend part of the trial on it.
Verdict
SaaS Mode makes sense for agencies that already serve several clients, or that have a clear niche and a ready offer for it. It turns what is currently an agency cost into a product clients subscribe to under your brand. How it turns out depends on your pricing, how many clients stay and the support you give; none of that comes ready-made with the software.
If you serve one business or only a few clients, Starter or Unlimited costs less. The best way to decide is to use the trial to build one plan, one snapshot and one sales page, and run a test purchase end to end before the first charge.
Frequently asked questions
Which GoHighLevel plan includes SaaS Mode?
Agency Pro, at $497 per month or $4,970 per year. It is also the only plan that lets you charge clients a markup on usage costs. The $297 Unlimited plan can pass usage costs through at cost, but has no SaaS Mode.
Can I bill clients in my local currency?
Yes, through Stripe. You set the currency of each plan in your Stripe account, but HighLevel's guide says it cannot be changed once a product has an active subscription. Phone (Twilio) rebilling stays in US dollars.
Does SaaS Mode work with PayPal?
No. HighLevel's SaaS Mode guide says Stripe is the supported processor for SaaS plans and that PayPal does not work for SaaS sign-ups. The Mercado Pago changelog for Latin America lists SaaS Mode as compatible, so if you rely on another provider, check the provider selection screen in your account during the trial.
How many plans can I sell?
Up to 20 SaaS plans per agency account. Each plan sets its own price, trial length, phone credits, snapshot and the features the client can access.
Will my clients see the HighLevel brand?
HighLevel says its white-label setup removes HighLevel branding. You set a custom login domain, an API domain for system links, your logo and a branded desktop app. Login emails go out from your own email subdomain if you set one up.
